Dr. Nager was great. 
They are open on Saturdays and they squeezed me in for an emergency appointment this afternoon, which was such a huge relief.

He took the time to explain what was happening (i grind my teeth) and the things i should start working on to decrease stress.  He was so nice.
His assistant, Pat, was really great too.  They have digital xrays and she was very careful and encouraging.  I don't really have a problem with dentists, but I think they are very used to people who are apprehensive, and will do a very good job to allay any fears.

I love this place! You probably think I'm crazy for saying I love a dental office, but this one rocks. Dr. Lapidus is my dentist.  Very personable and very thorough.  He and his assistants go the EXTRA mile to be certain you are comfortable, in NO pain, and that you UNDERSTAND the procedure they are going to perform. If it were ever possible, they are almost TOO nice and comforting- so sweet, they'll GIVE you a cavity!

State of the art equipment, with little tv monitors with your charts and teeth right in front of you while you're in the chair.

The assistants are all highly skilled and trained, and you can tell.

You will get an email, telephone, or automated appointment reminder (whichever you choose), AND get this- they are open on SATURDAYS! The Saturday appointments book fast, though, so book early.

It doesn't matter where I live in the Boston metro area, I would DRIVE to this dental group- they are worth it, and they treat you and your teeth as if you are worth it.

My visit to Belmont Dental was refreshing.  Dr. Nager was professional, friendly, and showed honest concern for my ongoing care.  In previous visits to the Dentist (i've had two different dentists in 7 years), the trust factor was not always there.  Not the case with Dr. Nager.  A straight shooter, good and bad.  

The bad for me was a serious root canal.  Dr. Nager made time to take away the pain, and even snuck me into his busy schedule weeks ahead of my Appointment.  His staff was terrific, making great conversation (not uncomfortable) during wait times.     

And the root canal Dr. Nager performed?  My tooth has not felt this good in years! I'm confident in this practice, and look forward to returning!

I've been a patient of Dr Lapidus' for over 10 years. Before I started going I was terrified of going to the dentist. I had a really bad experience. I hadn't gone for years. I went to Dr Lapidus & I was very comfortable. Him & his staff a very warm & friendly. He will explain everything he does. No matter what in dept. He draws pictures for me especially because I don't always understand the technical terms. He is very patient with me, I don't get numb easy & I have a jaw problem.  Neither he nor his assistants get frustrated with me.  If I have an emergency I am always told to come right down, their hours are very accommodating to my schedule. They're open nights & weekends. One day I called with an emergency & Dr Lapidus was teaching at Harvard but they still told me to come right down.  I just wanted to share my great experience about Dr Lapidus. I think it's a great office & staff. I tell all my friends & family to go see Dr Lapidus.
