Belmont Dental "Goes Above and Beyond" for Anxious Patient

I feel compelled to write a review for many reasons. but first, i told my hygenist today that i don't know WHY i'm so scared of going to the dentist still, because i have not had one bad experience with Belmont Dental. I see Dr. Nager and he couldn't do any more to make me feel like I was his only patient and goes above and beyond to make sure i'm happy, comfortable and relaxed while i'm in the chair. i have referred 2 people here so far (don't know if they've made the appointments!) and wouldn't hesitating anyone and everyone i know.

Belmont Dental Group is amazing! In the past, I have had fears around going to the dentist, but Dr. Lapidus took all my fears away. He is gentle, reassuring, and warm. I have found that all of the dental work I have gotten done at Belmont Dental Group has been smooth and painless. The staff is courteous and friendly. The office is conveniently located and immaculate. Honestly, I could not recommend Belmont Dental Group highly enough!

Dr. Nager was great.
They are open on Saturdays and they squeezed me in for an emergency appointment this afternoon, which was such a huge relief.

He took the time to explain what was happening (i grind my teeth) and the things i should start working on to decrease stress. He was so nice.
His assistant, Pat, was really great too. They have digital xrays and she was very careful and encouraging. I don't really have a problem with dentists, but I think they are very used to people who are apprehensive, and will do a very good job to allay any fears.

I love this place! You probably think I'm crazy for saying I love a dental office, but this one rocks. Dr. Lapidus is my dentist. Very personable and very thorough. He and his assistants go the EXTRA mile to be certain you are comfortable, in NO pain, and that you UNDERSTAND the procedure they are going to perform. If it were ever possible, they are almost TOO nice and comforting- so sweet, they'll GIVE you a cavity!

State of the art equipment, with little tv monitors with your charts and teeth right in front of you while you're in the chair.

The assistants are all highly skilled and trained, and you can tell.

You will get an email, telephone, or automated appointment reminder (whichever you choose), AND get this- they are open on SATURDAYS! The Saturday appointments book fast, though, so book early.

It doesn't matter where I live in the Boston metro area, I would DRIVE to this dental group- they are worth it, and they treat you and your teeth as if you are worth it.

I have been using Dr. Lapidus at Belmont Dental Group for many years now. My wife switched over from her previous dentist in Brookline as well and could not believe the difference. The quality of the work they do is phenomenal. The clear and straightforward way that they explain the options, pricing and procedures for any required work always leaves me feeling like I have the information to make really good decisions about my dental care. The fact that I can schedule appointments on Saturdays and Thursday nights is big plus for me. Dr. Lapidus has also opened up for us more than once at crazy hours in response to an emergency call. That is so appreciated. The staff is great - professional and caring. I have been seeing the same hygienist there for years. Definitely not a "revolving door" for staff, an issue that seem to be a problem in so many other doctors' offices. I highly recommend Belmont Dental Group. They have taken great care of me, my wife and my 2 children.
